Compulsory motor third-party liability insurance or comprehensive motor insurance? Which is better?

Compulsory civil liability insurance for vehicle owners or comprehensive motor insurance? Which is better.

Insurance companies offer flexible motor insurance programmes:

Motor insurance comprises types of insurance that provide for compensation for damage to an insured vehicle in the form of insurance payouts.

Insured events under motor insurance are:

  • road accidents;
  • theft or carjacking;
  • damage or destruction.

Insurance payout

Motor insurance payouts are made in the amount of partial or full compensation for the damage caused to a person's property interests related to the ownership, use and disposal of the car.

Of course, it is difficult to give recommendations that suit everyone.

But still:

1. If you have an expensive car, experts recommend comprehensive insurance, i.e. compulsory MTPL, full CASCO motor insurance and driver personal accident insurance.

2. If the car is second-hand and repairing it yourself after an accident will not be expensive, then compulsory MTPL + a complimentary Motor CASCO for 55 000 tenge and driver personal accident cover for 100 000 tenge.
